Seminole Theatre Starts Construction In addition to the Theatre’s South Building, the Theatre Group has initiated the bidding process for the completion of the exterior of the building which will include stucco, paint, windows, construction of the fly tower, and excavation and construction of the Theatre’s orchestra pit. According to Theatre Group President Frank May: “When this second phase of exterior construction is completed, an individual driving down Krome Avenue will see a completed Theatre; the balance of the historic restoration will occur in the Theatre’s interior.” Both construction phases are funded from generous grants received from Miami-Dade County.
