An Evening With Shaun Cassidy
It was "An Affair to Remember." Hollywood invaded the Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday December 23, 2005 when television producer Shaun Cassidy was the featured guest at a cocktail party and fundraiser for the historic Seminole Cultural Arts Theatre. Shaun Cassidy's writing and producing credits include creating the critically acclaimed series "American Gothic" and "Cover Me."  He also co-created the series "Roar" and "Players," and served as executive producer of "The Mountain" and "Cold Case."  A former actor and recording artist, Cassidy began his career as a singer with sold-out concerts worldwide.  He has 20 gold and platinum albums to his credit.  As a young man, he starred in two television series, "The Hardy Boys Mysteries" and "Breaking Away," and later made his name in the theatre, appearing in numerous productions, including the West End production of "Bus Stop" and the Broadway productions of "Mass Appeal" and “Blood Brothers."  Cassidy is now the creator and executive producer of ABC's sci-fi hit ”Invasion”.
The event was a smashing success.
