A Bright Future for a Historic Place.
Performing Arts Center
During the first year of operation, the theatre auditorium will book an average of three days-per-week for four or five live shows (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). In addition to professional touring and community arts organizations presenting theatre, music and dance productions, the Seminole Theatres 500-seat, state-of-the-art mainstage will accommodate festivals, pageants, and special events in areas such as storytelling, magic, poetry, comedy, and puppetry. Given the size and technical capabilities of the theatre, the opportunity to bring in a diversity of performance groups from around the country - or around the corner - is significant.
Conference/Lecture/Meeting Center Working in conjunction with business, civic, cultural, educational, governmental and religious institutions, the Seminole Cultural Arts Theatre will rent (and in limited circumstances, donate) the theatre's facilities for classes, conferences, forums, workshops, ceremonies, lectures, literary presentations, meetings and similar endeavors. The facilities' mainstage will be available for this purpose two or three days-a-week during daytime hours, and occasionally on weekday evenings as the schedule permits. The rehearsal hall/studio will be available throughout the week.
